Top International Goal Scorers

Since I started watching football, in my own opinion below are my top international goal scorers

6.Robin van Persie hit a hat-trick for Holland last night, in doing so he surpassed patrick Kluivert as the country's record goal-scorer with 41 attempts.

5. Robbie Keane-60 goals

Well traveled at club level in the Premier League; At 33, the striker is still going strong as international captain, record appearance holder (129 & counting) and record goalscorer.

4.Didier Drogba -61 goals

Drogba has helped raise the profile of African football. The former Chelsea hero may be coming towards the end of his career but when he does hang up his boots he can look back on a job well done.

3 Stern John-70 goals
Do not adjust your computer settings- you read it correct- Yes, Stern John has scored 70 goals at international level for Trinidad+Tobago.  The 36-year-old has been well traveled in England and currently plays for Non-League side Solihull Motors. Other clubs include Nottingham Forest, Birmingham and Southampton. This legend even made it to the World Cup in 2006. HE IS MY BO0, LOL.

2.PELE, 77 Goals

Of course Pele has to make this list as one of the greatest footballers ever- with stats to back that up. Helped Brazil to three World Cup trophies, I just wish he was still active now.

1. Ali Daei- 109 goals

I know what you might be thinking; who on earth is this? Well, this is the most prolific international footballer to ever walk the planet. The Iranian did play one year for Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin but other than that he never left the middle east. You learn something new every day, Lol, thank me later.
