Man City Star Vincent Kompany Would Be Out For One Month

How Sad, i'm sure gonna miss you Kompany.

After the 3-1 victory against Everton on Saturday, Kompany complained of feeling pain the next day.

He underwent a scan on Monday, which later confirmed he had picked up a minor groin strain. The injury means he will be back for the Citizens at the beginning of November.

The Belgian has already had a groin injury this season. He missed three Premier League games, because of the injury and returned to the squad for Champions League match against Victoria Plzen.

He has played four matches since then, including the victories against Manchester United and Everton.

With him in the heart of the defence, Manchester City look much more solid and both Belgium and Manchester City will miss him in the up-coming games.

The big defender will miss Belgium's games against Croatia and Wales and Manchester City's matches against West Ham, CSKA Moscow, Chelsea, Norwich and the second one with CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

Most probably Joleon Lescott will replace the captain as Maartin Demichelis is still injured.
