Funny...Stowaway Boy Thought Arik Flight Was Leaving Benin To The United States

The teenage stowaway, Daniel Ihekina, who was arrested at the Lagos Airport after flying in the tyre hole of an Arik plane from Benin to Lagos on Saturday morning, thought he was on a US-bound flight.

An airport source, who did not want his name in print spoke to Punch
“From what we heard, the boy said he was being maltreated and tried to escape from his parents. He thought he was on his way to the US.The parents have travelled to Lagos by road, to get him back.”

Teenage Boy Stowed Away In Arik Flight To Lagos

THERE was confusion on Saturday at the Benin Airport and in what seems to be a serious security breach on a local flight, as a teenage boy stowed away allegedly in the tyre hold of an Arik Aircraft from Benin to Lagos.

The Aircraft with registration number, 5N-MJG Flight 44, left Benin Airport at 9am for Lagos. Top officials of the Edo state government were on board the airline. Passengers aboard the airline were shocked when security agents found the teenager at the Lagos Airport after the aircraft landed.
